New website for my Cards, Notebooks and Other Printed Items
I left Kinlochbervie in 2015 and moved to Shrewsbury. As space in my new home is limited I had to part with a lot of equipment. I retained everything
needed to manufacture the Greetings Cards, Notebooks and all the other printed products such as Mousemats, Jigsaws, Mugs etc.
Having now decided to start making these items again I have created a website as a showcase and also provide a means to sell online. This is not a true eShop as I did not want to be in the position of automatically receiving paid orders and possibly not having the time to honour them. The site simply asks you to note the item code(s) and contact me via email. I will send an invoice which you can pay using PayPal or Credit Card, very simple. I will also advise P&P to ensure you pay the lowest amount rather than fixed charges.
Please note that all items are hand made by me, not mass produced. New stock being added all the time.

The Old School Restaurant & Rooms re-opening !!
The old School will open its doors again on Friday 6 March under new management. Open to both residents & non-residents, all year round, it will certainly prove popular with visitors and locals so I wish them the best of luck.

Kapo Don Chew Watercolour collection, New range of gift items,
Tesco is now delivering to Kinlochbervie !!
Kapo Don Chew was a talented artist who visited our area on many occasions. He produced some wonderful paintings of the Highlands and beyond. Unfortunately Kapo passed away in 2012. During a visit to the shop he left a book of 27 pictures for me to print and sell. I have been looking for a suitable way of presenting these pictures and discovered "printable" slate which seems to be perfect. So after 2 years I finally pulled the trigger on a system for creating sublimation images. Essentially it allows me to print onto a wide range of items including:
Mousemats, Tablemats (Gloss finish), Coasters, Mugs, Slate, Bookmarks, T Shirts & other polyester items etc.
The list is extensive and as all items can be bespoke they are perfect unique gifts for all occasions.

At long last Tesco have started to deliver to the area. The West Coast run now includes Durness & Kinlochbervie. This is very welcome as it will save at least £100/month travel expenses and over 2000 miles/year. The ordering procedure is very easy and they are at present delivering 6 times a week. I personally think that may be too often and it will probably settle down to less as time goes by.
New Image Collections
This is probably the last time I will do this.. my images have been "repackaged" in large A5 cd type cases. Each case holds 15 pictures and there are currently 3 sets on offer. Initial offer price is £9.95 per set +postage if needed.

Indian takeaway open in Kinlochbervie
People from Scourie, Durness, Kinlochbervie and beyond will be able to order freshly cooked Indian food. The new venture is run by Mike & Lucy who moved into the croft last year and are currently emulating Tom & Barbara in the Good Life. Various animals start arriving soon and the poly tunnel is already producing fresh food.

MF&P started life in 2001as a picture framing business but also offering picture sales and general photographic services. In addition I added PC support work, website design and high quality printing/scanning etc. MF&P is run by Pat Cooper who has had over 38 years experience of electronics, computing and photography. This includes a 29 year association with the British Antarctic Survey as an electronics engineer. During this period I generated a collection of over 12,000 slides of which around 8,500 have been scanned and are currently being catalogued. Update - 10 years later I still have not finished... My diaries (via The Croft link) give some insight into what has happened over the last few years.

All pictures are for sale as prints on high quality paper and an Epson 4900 printer up to A2 size. The 4900 allows me to use roll paper so panoramas can be printed substantially larger. Please contact me for more details. I have launched another website to showcase my growing collection of images from the Highlands of Scotland. The site also includes a growing selection of closeup & macro pictures of wild, and not so wild, flowers.
